Interview with the Meneghello Soprafino Tarot

The Soprafino tarot produced by Il Meneghello is a beautiful reproduction of the 1835 Tarocco Soprafino of Gumppenberg of Milan, Italy. The tarot deck is made of thick, unlaminated paper, and is a joy to hold and to work with.

Whenever I get a new deck, I use this six card tarot spread to allow the deck to “say hello”.  This particular tarot spread assigns the following meanings to each card position:
